Why did you choose to study in this college?

I wanted to do law and politics in university and this was the only course I could do in Ireland on these subjects with my points.

Are you happy with your choice of course?

Yes

On reflection, what made it the right or wrong choice for you?

This was the right choice for me as I am studying the subjects I want to in university.

How many hours of organised classes do you have per week?

11-15hrs

Are your lectures/labs mainly based on or off the main campus?

On

Is your course weighted more on continuous assessment or end of year exams?

End of year exams

Is there an option to study abroad on your course?

Yes

What are your favourite aspects of your course?

My favourite aspects of my course are the interesting aspects of some of my modules. I find that some subjects can be extremely interesting and not simply a means to an end.

What are your least favourite aspects of your course?

My least favourite aspect is end of year exams. I find these stressful and tedious and would prefer more continous assessment.

Was your course what you expected?

Yes

What do you wish you had known before choosing this course?

I wish that I had known that this course does not entitle you to go straight on to King's Inns afterwards.

Why?

There are enough books there for everybody to study from. However it could be a little quieter for studying.

It is a small university which makes it easier to meet people and get to know them. The work is challenging but not too challenging.
